Brooklands Health Centre opened to the public on 10th September 2018. It is a new state of the art, three storey health centre for Milton Keynes Council and the NHS to provide additional healthcare services to the town’s eastern expansion area, which will serve residents of the new districts of Broughton Gate, Brooklands, Glebe Meadows, Eagle Farm and other developments in the Strategic Land Area.
The health centre caters for up to 22,500 patients and includes Milton Keynes largest GP facility, a chiropractor, pharmacy, dental services, café and on-site parking.
The health centre will be operated by the Practice Group under a contract with NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (MKCCG).
Matthew Webb, Chief Officer, Milton Keynes CCG said:
“Opening this practice has been a brilliant collaborative effort between the Partners, the Council and the CCG and I would like to thank all those involved in the project for their hard work….“The new building is modern, light and airy with access to public transport and plenty of car parking spaces…. I am sure that this will be an attractive centre for both patients and staff.”
Mark Lancaster, Milton Keynes North MP visited the project during construction and commented: “It was great to see the progress of this vitally important health centre, which will be a significant addition to the infrastructure of the eastern expansion area”
